The Miami Marlins are in Washington D.C to open up a 3 game series against Ryan Zimmerman and the Washington Nationals. First pitch is set today at 7:05 ET at Nationals Park. The Marlins are going with Carlos “Big Z” Zambrano. LHP Ross Detwiler will get the ball for the Nats. His last outing was pretty solid by getting a no-decision in 5 innings of pitches and giving up 1 earned run on 5 hits against the Cincinnati Reds. Detwiler has an ERA of 0.90 and a WHIP of 1.10.
