Last night, the Miami Marlins defeated the Washington Nationals nine to seven in extras.
Today, Miami looks to make it three wins in a row as they have Mark Buehrle (12-12) on the mound. His last start, which was against the Mets, he gave up five runs in seven innings as ended up getting the loss. That snapped his three-game winning streak.
Ross Detwiler (9-6) will be the starting pitcher for Washington. In his last outing, he went seven innings and he didn’t give up a run on four hits. Also, he struck out three batters.
