Marlins are aggressively seeking a replacement for Ozzie Guillen. Will they wait to find someone before firing him? We’ll see.
— Buster Olney (@Buster_ESPN) October 4, 2012
In Ozzie Guillen’s first year of managing the Marlins, the team finished with a record of 69 wins and 93 losses. Also, it’s Guillen’s worst year as a major league manager.
Ozzie Guillen still has three more years on his contract left and he’s getting $10 million, $2.5 million per year.
Some potential replacements could be Mike Lowell, Brad Ausmus and Tampa Bay’s bench coach Dave Martinez.
