Miami Marlins vs Washington Nationals Game 2 of 2 8/29/12
- Updated: August 29, 2012
Turner recently acquired from Detroit makes his second start with the Marlins looking for his first win with his new team. Ozzie Guillen was impressed with his last start saying “I like what I see.”
The Nationals look to bounce back after a miserable 9-0 loss handed by Ricky Nolasco who dominated the game. The Nationals are on a 6 game loosing streak at the worst possible time hitting only .212 in the past week. Meanwhile Miami is on a 3 game winning streak and look to win tonight on the bats of Justin Ruggiano who was 4 for 4 last night with a home run and Giancarlo Stanton who had 3 hits with 3RBI’s.
Donovan Solano is on a 11 game hitting streak and looks to increase that when he faces Ross Detwiler who hasn’t allowed a run in 12 innings against Miami.
Marlins’ Lineup:
1) Hernandez CF
2) Solano 2B
3) Reyes SS
4) Lee 1B
5) Stanton RF
6) Ruggiano LF
7) Buck C
8) Murphy 3B
9) Turner P
