Miami got shut out by Pittsburgh
- Updated: July 23, 2012
Miami’s offense was terrible as they only managed to get 5 hit in the whole entire ball game.
The Marlins were 1-4 with runners in scoring position and left four runners on base.
Anibal Sanchez got the tough lost as he struck out eight batters in seven innings and walked none.
The Marlins have now a five game losing streak as they got shut out and swept by the Pirates, three to zero was the final score.
Next Game: The Marlins travel back to Miami to open a three game series against the Braves after going 1-5 on the road. Josh Johnson will start for Miami as he faces Mike Minor at 7:10 PM ET.
