Those are some of the lyrics of the possible theme song for the Miami Marlins. I shared the song with you guys this morning on Facebook and on Twitter. Some Marlins fans like it, but mostly everyone is giving it bad reviews.

Derek Roehner - Absolutely horrible!!! Are you guys crazy?? There is no crying in baseball, no cheerleaders and no horrible songs. what are you thinking??? Nothing to do people??
Gustavo Amaya - I rather they bring back “Everybody’s doing the Fish, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!!!
Laura Hoyt - Aw man what happen to the rock song they had out? I think it was nickel back?
Personally the song is not so bad but not so good. If you read the comment on YouTube of the video, there’s a guy saying that it’s just a demo. The band that’s going to record it is supposed to be a local high school band directed by an iconic teacher who’s retiring this year.
But who knows if this is really the Marlins theme song? On YouTube, there’s a hole bunch of theme songs of the Marlins and there’s one that I really like. It’s by DCmusicnation, here it is:

This is perfect, it talks about the Marlins past and future, also who we recently sign this offseason and the stadiums and other Marlins history. It’s just perfect.
