Marlins re-sign Nick Green to a minor league contract

According to Joe Frisaro of MLB.com, the Miami Marlins have agreed to sign Nick Green to a minor league deal with an invitation to Spring Training.
Green, 34, spent most of the season in Triple-A, where he posted a .344/.397/.599 batting line with 12 home runs and 47 RBI’s in 237 plate appearances. He also appeared in seven games for the Fish. He suffered a left thumb injury, but is fully healthy for Spring Training.
For his career, he has a .236/.303/.347 batting line with 16 homers and 97 RBI’s in 400 games with the Braves, Rays, Yankees, Mariners, Red Sox, Dodgers, Blue Jays and Marlins.
