Marlins not likely to change front office
- Updated: September 22, 2012
After all the rumor we went through yesterday, it all turns out that the Marlins aren’t gonna change the front office.
According to Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald the Miami Marlins are not planning on shaking up the front office. Larry Beinfest, who’s under contract through 2015, will be safe for at least another year.
While it’s looking tough for Ozzie Guillen. Clark Spencer also reports that Jeffrey Loria is still deciding on whether to fire Guillen.
Via the Miami Herald: Sources said Loria is still mulling a decision on whether to fire Guillen. Loria met Friday with his front office contingent and team president David Samson in New York. The group is expected to meet again following the season.
Mike Lowell was one of the few names for replacements for Guillen but sources tells Clark Spencer that he would not be considered for the job.
Other potential managerial replacement are Nationals third base coach Bo Porter and Padres special assistant Brad Ausmus.
