Marlins interested in right-hander Matt Capps

The Miami Marlins are interested in free agent reliever Matt Capps, reports Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald.
Capps, 29, went 1-4 with a 3.68 ERA with 5.5 K/9 and 1.2 BB/9 in 29 1/3 innings of relief for the Minnesota Twins this past season. The right-hander owns a 3.52 ERA in eight years in the major leagues with the Pirates (’05-’09), Nationals (’10) and Twins (’10-’12).
