- Updated: May 1, 2012
The Miami Marlins fell 9 to 5 in the finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Marlins Park. The Marlins are struggling, as now they are now 2 – 8.

Recently called up Daniel Jennings made his major league debut in the 6th inning. He pitched a scoreless inning, but he walked one batter. Ryan Webb pitched scoreless innings. In the 9th, Heath Bell was supposed to keep the score close by having scoreless innings, instead he gives up 2 runs on 1 hit and a walk. His ERA is NOT good; it’s now at 10.80.
Donnie Murphy and Austin Kearns both hit their 2nd home runs of the season and both were 2 run- homers, but it wasn’t enough to beat the D-Backs as the Marlins fall 9-5 in front of 31,006 fans.
The Marlins travel to San Francisco to face the Giants.
