Marlins Face the Giants with the Opener tonight of a 4 game series

The Colorado Rockies managed to rally in the 4th and 5th innings to defeat the Miami Marlins 8 to 4. Tonight, the Marlins and Giants open up a 4 game series at 7:10 PM ET at Marlins Park.
Anibal Sanchez (2-2) has 6 straight starts throwing at least seven innings, but he has lost his last 2 starts which were against the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cleveland Indians. He’ll start for the Fish tonight.
As for San Francisco, they’ll go with Ryan Vogelsong (2-2). Vogelsong won his last start as he threw 7 innings and didn’t allow a run.

The Miami Marlins swept the San Francisco Giants in early May. Each game was won by one run and was highlighted by strong starting pitching.

The right handed pitcher Juan Carlos Oviedo formely known as Leo Nunez has received his visa. The next step would be to get him back into the country where he will more than likely serve a 6-8 week suspension before being eligible to be recalled to the big leagues.
