Buehrle on the Mound for the Marlins to Try and Stop the Bleeding
- Updated: April 25, 2012
Mark Buehrle and the Marlins look to return to the win column as they face David Wright and the Mets in New York. First pitch is set 7:10 PM ET at Citi Field.
Mark Buehrle will get the ball in this one. He’s 1-2, 2.66 ERA in this very short season and in his last outing he got his first win as a Marlin. Going eight innings, allowing one run against the Cubs. Buehrle has never face the Mets in his career. The knuckle baller R.A Dickey will start for the Mets. He’s 4-2, 3.86 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, 35 Ks in the last five years vs the Marlins.
The Marlins offense needs to wake up and the bullpen needs to throw strikes in order to end this 3 game-losing streak that started in Washington.
