Jose Reyes Shines!

sine

The rain stopped in Jupiter and they were able to play ball. The Marlins changed plans: they played at the main field in Roger Dean Stadium, whoMiami Marlins' Jose Reyes Smiles were suppose to play in field 2. The scrimmage was not open to the public.

The Marlins first inter-squad scrimmage of the season started out great for All-Star shortstop Jose Reyes. In his first at bat, he batted a home run to right field off Ricky Nolasco. Nolasco pitched a sinker that cut over the middle of the plate, Reyes manage to connect and just went deep.

“I wanted to make him feel good about himself,” Nolasco joked.

I’m kinda worried about the Marlins starting rotation. Yesterday, Ozzie anounce that Rickey Nolasco would be the number 3 starter. With this game, he showed that he needs to be in the fourth spot. Yes I know it’s the spring training, but still you need to play your best and show that your ready for the season.

If i were Ozzie Guillen, I would put Anibal Sanchez in the 3rd spot of the rotation and Nolasco would be the 4th starter.
