Eovaldi had a Terrible Outing as Miami loses to Atlanta 6-1
- Updated: August 3, 2012
Nathan Eovaldi got pounded by the Atlanta Braves in a 6-1 loss.
Nathan Eovaldi hoped to have another good start with his new team but it just wasn’t his day.
Eovaldi gave up six runs in just two innings. His record is now 2-7 with an ERA of 4.66.
Jose Reyes tied his longest hitting streak record, which is twenty games with a triple in the six, and he would later score on a sacrifice fly by Carlos Lee.
Chad Gaudin did a great job in his long relief. He struck out two in four innings and he didn’t give up a run.
Dan Jennings threw in the last two innings for the Fish.
At the end, Atlanta defeated Miami, 6-1.
