- Updated: July 25, 2012
Mark Buehrle had tough outing as he walked four batters in five innings and gave up three runs -two earned runs-.
This is the first time in this season that Mark Buehrle has failed to go at least six innings in consecutive starts. Also, Buehrle hadn’t walked more than two before walking four tonight.
Hanley Ramirez tied the game in the bottom of the first inning with a RBI single to center field.
Later in the second, Jose Reyes belted a 2 home run to right field, which is his sixth home run of season.
The Marlins were winning the Braves three to one in the bottom of the second.
The bullpen was again solid by only giving up a run in four innings.
The Marlins couldn’t make a rally as they fall to the Braves four to three.
Next Game: Ricky Nolasco will get the ball on Wednesday for the Marlins as he faces Tommy Hanson in the series finale at 12:40 PM ET.
